Submission Guidelines

BOSmagazine is primarily seeking proposals and completed manuscripts in the following forms: interviews (particularly in the context of studio visits), artist studio profiles, book and exhibition reviews, cultural news features, critical essays, and longer research essays in English or German. We are looking for writing in particular from emerging academics and artists, prioritizing voices in the field of art practice and research that need an accessible venue to be heard. Because we are a digital magazine at this point, we are flexible and open to pieces of various lengths and including a variety of visual elements, including video, as long as proper rights and permissions are secured by the author. We may also produce print publications in the future, so stay tuned.
If you have an idea for a piece that does not fit these categories, please write us anyway!
